THE SPACE

This treehouse is built entirely out of the woods with carefully selected, curved, twisted and burled wood. It features many carvings, 2 handmade spiral staircases, and rustic furniture.

Experience the magic of living in the trees.

OutaTheWoods is a secluded, romantic getaway, ideally suited for couples. While we love children, it is not suitable for children under age 12. Some pets are not suitable. The Treehouse cabin is built into living Trees, with enough room for growth. The live Trees have collars for interior movement. We do a thorough clean but at times when the wind blows up in the canopy, right after a clean, there may be a bit of dust/dirt from tree bark, sometimes tree blossom pollen that blows in

Testimonials

“Staying in this treehouse is a one-of-a-kind experience. The small details and finishing touches make it special and unique, a “home away from home”. It is clear it was created with love. The property is amazing, there are hiking trails walking distance from the treehouse where we saw elk. There were deer around the treehouse often. There are 2 beautiful horses on site as well. The pond was alive with fish and an otter. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Debbie as she was away, but Mike was very friendly and accommodating, often checking how things were and if we needed anything else. We will definitely be back! Be sure to check out the carvings inside and out. We also enjoyed reading the guestbook by the fireplace and making our own entry. What a beautiful space! Highly recommend and will be back."”

“This Treetop oasis really shows pride in ownership, very clean, well maintained and full of character. The stairs may not be ideal for everyone, but the craftsmanship & details provide endless charming discoveries. Mike & Debbie were friendly and excellent hosts from start to finish. A perfect setting if you are looking for R & R. We also enjoyed the hiking trails, they were well marked and provided a extra punch of nature & a mountain view. Loved our stay!”

Jacki

“Debbie and Mike are incredible hosts. We needed to postpone our trip because of COVID, and they were so helpful and accommodating! We had a lovely time enjoying the peace and quiet and exploring the treehouse. The treehouse itself was very quaint and super eco-friendly! Being from Alberta, we were able to pay a small fee for Debbie and Mike's supplied firewood instead of having to buy some regional wood before we arrived. We had a chance to enjoy a firefly night show while we sat by the fire. Mike checked us in and gave us some local tips for places to kayak and hike. We were able to do everything with the time we had, so we will just have to come back! Thank you so much, Debbie and Mike! We look forward to returning.”

“This was an amazing experience. The Treehouse itself is spectacular, the design, the little touches here and there. We were still finding little carvings after our third day. These hosts didn't miss anything in creating this unique experience. We hiked the trails around us, floated on the private lake for hours and Mike gave us a great tip to try out nearby biking trails. The most peaceful and relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back!!”
